13/06/2017 - Installation Production Diary

Matt had set up four boards in the studio for us to use where we would be stapling pictures to cover the entire wall. We printed out hundreds of pictures ranging from baby/childhood photos to teenage years, to marriage and to grandparent photos. Reece and I set up the prop bed in the middle of the two back boards and covered the white area behind it with a black cloth where we planned to project the edited video for the final presentation. The idea was to staple images of childhood on the left board and they transition from left to right through teenage and adult years on the back board and into the elderly years on the right hand board. We hung up one clock on each side of the wall and covered the bed in a bed sheet and pillow and set up the projector and laptop ready with the video loaded on it and our booth was complete.
